Ever get that "My Momma Always said That Life is Like a Box of Chocolates" feeling, Pepe Le Gump?

Pepe le Pew said...

well, so far it has been a box of chocolate although I wish i had the security and idle time of a cushy academic job.

A cushy academic job is there for the taking, depending on how you define cushy. Although, having become accustomed to Versaillean tastes, you perhaps have higher standards for "cushy" than most of us. At least no worries about being sniffed out as possessing deviant thought, in your case. So, if mo idleness is your wish nothing but idleness stops you from getting mo of it....
Chocolate is good, though.

Hey, Pepe, you'd fit right in -- lots of pinko soulmates. Give it a try. But what would you teach? How to sound Versaillist and gauchiste at the same time? They must teach that in Science Po 101.

This guy pulled a Hitchens, and the Political Left will come down hard on him. The classic liberal left (meant in an intellectual, free-exchange-of-ideas kind of way) understands him.

An excerpt from the article: On her wedding day, Aisha was playing on a see-saw outside her home. Inside, she was being betrothed. The first she knew of it was when she was banned from playing out in the street with the other children. When she was nine, she was taken to live with her husband, now 53. He had sex with her.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has been talking about shit like this even before becoming a part of the Danish Parliament. Happens all the time. Today I heard about the Taliban destroying secular schools for girls in Pakistan: the Taliban uses firebombs these days, too. You know, so women don't get smart and start, ah, thinking for themselves.

omg, you gonna go down the versailles/vichy/aristo road too? Stupidity is truly contagious.

Le Pew Sputters and Spews:
"omg, you gonna go down the versailles/vichy/aristo road too? Stupidity is truly contagious".

And "ground zero" for this pernicious infection is our favorite coddled Nawlins Aristo Boy, pining for even more security and sloth than Versailles can bear,

Pepe le Pew said...

security and sloth ? wtf are you babbling about lackey-boy?

Arelcao Akleos said...

hmmmm, "lackey-boy", that has no cutting edge at all. The dulling of your wit proceeds apace with the dulling of your blade.

By the way, Aristo d'Alzheimer, look your second comment on this very page. The comment where you whine "I wish i had the security and idle time of a cushy academic job".
Capisce?

cutting edge has never been the point of any of your posts. Why hold me to a different standard ?

Sad Little Aristo, so far from the Versailles of your birth. In exile to where no Security stands, and no Idleness beckons, reduced to waving limply your broken epee across a continent of Peasants and Rubes all red of neck and and Rush'in to love their Swait Baybee Jaysus. ......Then, as darkness falls, Savage sings his nightmare song.
No wonder you have hit Wit's End.

I'll give you that "Aristo d'Alzheimer" is very funny.
