Holy shit. You're right. The path is bent southward more now. Note also that the storm has plenty of path over open water. The only good thing is that it looks timed to strike land kinda early in the day, if I remember. That helps of course. Also there is no dirty side on a North-South coast.

I would rather it hit Pepe again. We're getting big violent thunderstorms almost every afternoon these days, but they are coming from West.

We're getting big violent thunderstorms almost every afternoon these days, but they are coming from West.

Maybe the two pressure systems will mix, and you'll get hurricanes and tornados at the same time?

JJ, Texas kind of sounds like North Dakota: when natural disaster strikes, you help your neighbor sandbag and offer them food and shelter rather than stealing as many televisions as possible with local cops before the Military Police arrive.
