There's no way that an electorate as dumb as the Obamagirl are going to get the message and turn this around so completely. I also think it would be unwise to be so "smart".

Barone argues his piece pretty well. Now, he puts all those caveats de rigueur. But the trend is there, very discernible. Hadn't thought of 1974 before (I'm still fixated at the 1994 comparison), but that's a comparison worth mulling over.
This issue has legs.
OK, fine about KSM in the Bog Apple. What's the right way to play this politically. Keep kvetching, sure, but it's better if Holder actually does try the bastard there.
It's best if it turns out to be a fiasco mistrial and the "rule of law" has to get trumped by the rule of duhhh.
This is all assuming of course that NYC is always a target and so trying KSM there doesn't really expose the city to more risk.
Hell, I'd go so far as to say that as for as pinko New Yorkers are concerned, let them have a binding referendum. See if they want to go along with Hussein and Holder on this one or not.
But I digress.
Also, it's not clear that that issue has legs nationally. It seems that the Obamagirl electorate is still out there basically grading Obama adequately in terms of foreign policy-defense.

Look, it's not just the inanity of trying KSM in a NYC court -- someone gotta pay for this BS -- something like $500 million for that new fancy prison in Ill, plus something like $300 million for security in NYC, etc, etc. Who's gonna cough up all this moolah that we don't have? You think that's not an issue with John Q. Taxpayer?
Bammy will print the money and count the jobs building the prison as jobs gained.
That's simple. It's about voters buying it. And the voters are not flunking Obama on foreign policy no matter what he does: look.
A month after the eunuchbomber fiasco and Obama is still at 50% with the moroniverse.
Don't think the cost of some cement in Illinois is going to make any difference against this.
Hot doesn't think it so easy. I don't see why the Exec can't simply put the trial where it wants to. What does Congress have to do with that?
NY state is going to send the Feds a bill? The Feds will throw it in the trash.
