Brown's was a lot longer. Also, how much of an election night speech you show doesn't affect the results.
The real problem is when the TV news fucks buy into the librul propaganda. For some reason, it seems that this time they didn't much, as far as I know. No one has been screaming about it, and Reps always do (probably rightly).
I would imagine that Coakley's saying idiotic crap was on a tape loop at the Fox stations and got between 0 and 1 mention each on the rest.
Did either of you guys have a look at TV election coverage over there, across the board, not just Fokkkx?
Yup. It was following the party line in the same way as did last year's election. CBS was somewhat better than the other two traditional networks. The difference this time is that the Party Liners looked tense and glum from the getgo, as if they knew this time there would be no victory. Also, don't underestimate the effect of not having exit polling available. Much of the anger of Republicans during election days arises from the appearance of the MSM using exit polls as thinly disguised "push polls" to try to egg on certain candidates while the voting is still ongoing. This time the Dems were caught unprepared for a serious contest. They won't make the same mistake in the fall.
Yeah, the lack of exit polling this time worried me. I figured than no matter what, the election would be close and without anyone checking the books, it seemed like a good time to steal an election.
Up on the main, Ziegler asks just how Brown won by just 5%.
