Ahh, for the good old days when it didn't seem to matter much.

It is a relief that he's not out there shilling for Obama. I would be pretty conflicted. Still, I can't imagine how he could possibly do it.

The wiseass class clown can be buddies with the dishonest valedictorian that drops his pants in the girls' bathroom, but he never has any use for the overachieving affirmative action nerd that gets his feelings hurt if he's called a twit.

Naw, Carville's good people and Dems like him are tolerable when nothing much important is on the stove.

Even here he takes the right take and makes the appropriate joke.
