California goes Greek

.. while Greece goes full Pepe with its head up its ass:
There is a school of thought that says the Germans are bluffing. They need Greece and will never throw us out of the eurozone. But what will happen, which is almost certain, is they will not give us the money to pay our debts. We will be in wild bankruptcy, out-of-control bankruptcy. The state will not be able to pay salaries and pensions. This is not recognised by the citizens.
Duhhh...

Or, perhaps, California is going French? Charly would know.

Brown, who abandoned austerity with a swiftness and lack of remorse that would make a French socialist proud, now calls for a "millionaire's tax" to put California right. In what seems to us to be very French, Brown also redefined "millionaire" to mean anyone earning a quarter-million dollars a year. That must be some sort of socialist math.
