"I denounce, Mr. Hollande, your superficiality, and I would even say, looking at you, cowardice! Cowardice! There is in your attitude, I say it again, cowardice!"

.. said VilePine. And then he continued:

I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! Now, go away, or I shall taunt you a second time.

Amusing to see a catfight between the real Left and the pseudo Left. They richly deserve each other.

Dominique also speaks his mind vis-a-vis the NK nuclear threat:

Dominique de Villepin, the French prime minister, yesterday said the international community should respond to a North Korean test with a "firm and just" response.

And what would that be? Hitting back with wet sesame noodles?

I think he doeshave a point there: if W hadn't spread himself so thin chasing the terror windmills in the dunes, he could address this (serious) threat.

I realize you consider this is a crazy concept, but Korea is capable of considerably more damage to western civ (or the american part of it, assuming...) than AQ's and its souped up molotoff cocktails.

Let me think how to address this point -- it's not an easy one to answer, but I will give it a shot.

In the meantime, here's an update: in the grand French tradition, Dominique capitulates. Oh, well, yet another dog-bites-man story.
