Yeah, yeah, yeah. The usual "compassion" from the pinko-lefties, which in plain English translates to venom, bile, and spite.

RiP, Jerry.

Pepe le Pew said...

On the contrary : I'll sincerely miss statements like this one:

Shortly after the 11 September 2001 attacks, he said that gays, atheists, civil-rights activists and legal abortions in the US had angered God and "helped this happen".

Jerry, come back !

Arelcao Akleos said...

Pepe prefers the folks who say that not signing the Kyoto treaty and submitting to the World Court "helped this happen"

If I had to choose between Jerry or Mikey walking this Earth, the Moore dispatched the Merrier

Look, there is such thing as human decency (a virtue going the way of the Dodo bird, to be sure). The man just died -- a civilized human being does not speak ill of the dead, at least not the very same day they've departed this valley of sorrow. But of course, I don't expect someone from Planet PP to understand such concepts.

We weren't nice to Zarkawi, were we?

Pepe le Pew said...

How am I lacking human decency by reminding the board of some of his finest moments ?

And since you raised the topic, here's another one showing what a fine and decent human being falwell was:
AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals; it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals.
Jerry Falwell

Pepe le Pew said...

Fallwell the scientist:

It is God's planet - and he's taking care of it. And I don't believe that anything we do will raise or lower the temperature one point.

Pepe le Pew said...

I think pornography is a scourge on society.
Jerry Falwell

Yeah, but what else do you jerk off to?

Pepe le Pew said...

Fallwell the independent thinker:

I am such a strong admirer and supporter of George W. Bush that if he suggested eliminating the income tax or doubling it, I would vote yes on first blush.
Jerry Falwell

One more time, PP plumbs the depths of his illogic. Of course, being on the Left means you don't have to worry about such pecadilloes as logic (or decency) -- it's all about l'avenir radieux and les lendemains qui chantent, so to hell with everything else, even if it means shilling for head-hacking malevolent psychopaths.

Pepe le Pew said...

ai, i don't know how you manage to keep track of who's who among all these fanatic ideologs. i don't - hats off to you.

Arelcao Akleos said...

What PP is saying is that just because he don't know shit from shinola is exactly why he should be allowed to pass his shit and pretend its shinola

Arelcao Akleos said...

AI, the point is that on Planet Pepe Falwell=Zarky. At least for the empty rhetoric of a Versailles which trust Ricains in the end to forget about all that gaullic poison and save the aristos sorry asses from the folly of their own irony,...yet again

Pepe le Pew said...

exactly. except, in this case, it would be shit and crap but you've got it almost right for once.

Pepe le Pew said...

Falwell=Zarky
Of course not. One is a despicable fanatic ideologue, while the other one is a despicable fanatic idelogue with a weapon.

Pepe le Pew said...

However, as stated at the end of Barry Lyndon, "they are all equal now".

Pepe le Pew said...

If you are referring to iraq, i would point out that you aren't saving anybody's ass: you are just getting yours kicked... again, and again, and again.

Aahhh, the unbearable lightness of the Rive-Gauchiste mind, where everything is equal to everything else. Even a monkey typing randomly can do better. But again, being a "bien pensant" means having no shame about saying such patently false bullshit.

For the record, though, Jerry Fallwell founded a University (which attracts 20,000 students) -- how many Universities did the Left's Minuteman start? I can't wait for one of those snarky, bullshitty repartees that are the signature of the infantile Left, where vulgar, semi-retarded one-liners supposedly replace reasoned discourse.

Mr roT said...

I like Barry Lyndon very much. Also I liked the 'all equal' bit you refer to. Was that in the Thackeray?

Mr roT said...

AI, that 'university' is a madrassah.

Pepe le Pew said...

For the record, though, Jerry Fallwell founded a University.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and osama founded hospitals. we'll nominate him for the nobel peace prize.
As far as the academic credentials of this charlatanic institution you refer to as a "university", one can only imagine the quality of training dispensed there.

Pepe le Pew said...

Jimmy Swaggart also founded a similar "university" in red stick when he wasn't busy picking up hookers on airline hwy. And I can tell from your incomparable skill at whipping out a pair of knee pads anytime salazarinho foams at the mouth and goes on some rant that you are a graduate of Oral Roberts' "university".

Arelcao Akleos said...

Is this the quickest quarter century of comments on record?

Arelcao Akleos said...

The saving of the sorry Aristo's ass comes right in their own Versailles. Care to reflect over what sort of combination of Vichyism would be ruling France today if we had not fought back against IM and tried your fave path of Clintonism?? You know, the path that led directly to that ..er..."fluke", that was 911?? Do you think, for example, that an American Neocon like Sarkozy would have had a ghost of a chance if the Yanks had decided to monica unto IM the way Chirac did??
You sorry Bleus still have a chance because we've fought for you to have a fighting chance [not that you will take that chance]

Arelcao Akleos said...

However mediocre and religion weighted Liberty is, the sad fact, and it is allahbundering sad, is that it has a freedom of thought and speech, and opportunity for genuine learning, almost unmatched under Islam. The exception being a few secular universities along the mediterranean and the AUs.
But then Pepe would be as blind to this as he is audacious in his lies on Jerry Falwell. It is not "having a weapon" which separates peole like Falwell from Zarky, it is being a Christian, and so leaving the damnning and burning to God, and being a Good Muslim, and so making sure that Allah gets to see the damning and burning right here on earth.

Arelcao Akleos said...

Oh, why do I say "lie", and not some euphemism like"Misunderstanding" or "Misperception"??
Because Pepe knows damn well he could go right into the campus of Liberty, engage in his most crass and insulting attacks against his usual devils, do so before Jerry Satan himself, and at worst, assuming he remains civil, he finds himself having to actually think in a genuine debate. If he goes BBCish, then he may be asked to leave the campus...that's it, and he knows it.
However, if he tried that at the Islamic University in Virginia, or the one here in Washington, or at an Islamic student associatin at Berkeley, SFU, heck even Baton Rouge, he would have to start worrying about walking out on human feet. If he tried this at one of those full blown Al-Azhar or Qom thingies, never mind the run of the mill Madrassahs, he would never have to worry about walking out at all, ever again.
And he knows that to.
This equation of fundamentally different religious lines, different as to the question of free will and the role of violence, never mind extraordinary violence, in its fundamental dogmas, is the sort of willful idiocy of the aristos which will get them all lined up one day before a shiny new green Mosque and taste the full metal glory of a new Toledo of the Ditches

Arelcao Akleos said...

As for Iraq, to the extent we are getting "Kicked again and again" is precisely to the extent we listened to the Versaillists encouraging the humbug of "nuance and sophistication" over the good ol Yankee Grantmanship in search of our inner Tecumseh.
It was by heeding people of Pepean thought that Bush undermined the whole enterprise. Are you saying that you are happy the Yanks listened to your crud? Or sad that the Yanks listened to your crud? Or are you just astonished that the wages of heeding ironism is Dada?

Pepe le Pew said...

Hurray for Liberty, more tolerant than your garden variety madrassah.

It was by heeding people of Pepean thought that Bush undermined the whole enterprise.
Hey i take offense to this: rummy is not of pepean thought.

Pepe le Pew said...

How you manage not to bore yourself to death with this long-winded cliched grandiloquence is a miracle, aa.

Pepe le Pew said...

It was by heeding people of Pepean thought that Bush undermined the whole enterprise.
i see: it isn't that the plan was mishandled from day one by one incompetent administrator after another, themselves supervised by rabid ideologues impervious to advice from their own military experts. It isn't that all the premises for the war were exposed to be fabrications. it isn't that the entreprise was so frayed with nonsense from day one that your administration wasn't able to rally the support it needed. No, it's that poor lil'bushy, well he was gonna win but then he was influenced by the horrible meanies from the left. Whatever, dude, but I'll drink to the demise of the enterprise.

Arelcao Akleos said...

Pepe, Bush proved his incompetence by having taken seriously the mewlings of the appeasing idiots of Planet Pepe. That does make him very very incompetent.

Arelcao Akleos said...

AA:" Or are you just astonished that the wages of heeding ironism is Dada?"

PP :"How you manage not to bore yourself to death with this long-winded cliched grandiloquence is a miracle, aa."

AA-- 56 letters, 13 words, longest word has 10 letters, "cliche" is "ironism is Dada"

PP-- 89 letters, 19 words, longest word has 14 letters, cliches are "bore yourself to death" and "long-winded cliche"

PP triumphs in every category, what a miracle!

Arelcao Akleos said...

PP "Hurray for Liberty, more tolerant than your garden variety madrassah"

Uh, no, if you but read you will see that is should be "Hurray for Liberty, it has a freedom of thought and speech, and opportunity for genuine learning, almost unmatched under Islam. The exception being a few secular universities along the mediterranean and the AUs."

This superiority is over many of what pass for secular, never mind officially Islamic, universities in Islam. Never mind the actually madrassahs.
Heck, this superiority is over Pepeland.

Pepe le Pew said...

Opportunity for genuine learning from Liberty and its body of illuminated charlatans - wonderful.

Heck, this superiority is over Pepeland.
No doubt: i am an uber-evil-berkeley grad who wasn't worthy of jimmy swaggart's bible college.

Pepe le Pew said...

i was referring to the whole tired tirade, aa.

Arelcao Akleos said...

You are a run of the mill Berkeley grad who exchanged a promise to retain your ignorance invicible for a potentially lucrative technical training.
Tweedle dum in, tweedle dum out, but now in a Versaillian outfit.
Hey, Vichy has a proud tradition of exchanging its independence of thought for a little "sauerkraut and security"

Arelcao Akleos said...

The "whole tired tirade", PP? And yet the relevant example you offered was on the ironism of Dada?? Cliche don't mean what you think it means, Vichy Boy
