One of the men spoke German with a Slavic accent Hmmm.... Russian Mafia, perhaps? If so, the paintings are by now in Vladivostok or something. Good luck to Scotland Yard retrieving them from there. In due course, the paintings should make their way into Pooty's private collection.

Sounds Russian. They did the heist in about 3 minutes (maybe a bit more). Quick = Professional Thieves?
