Tecumseh said...: As I AA astutely pointed out at some point (I had not noted it before), NRO is split down the middle on this -- between the Realpolitikers and the Damnthetorpedoers if you want to oversimplify a bit. Clearly, Mona Charen belongs to the latter faction. If you wanna see a guy taking the straight JJ-Party Line, look at Cliff May. Again, more-or-less reasonable, but surely he must have made the same case for Bob Dole in 1996 (though maybe he still was at the NYT then, so then not.); 2/08/2008 2:14 PM
