Here's another North Dakotan serious about his ice fishing.

...and fishing has long been an excuse to get away from the grinding of the city in both Minnesota and Dakota. The article reads more like a retreat than anyone trying to get some serious fishing done. Beer is essential, and is often accompanied by a bottle of schnapps.

AI, yes, they (and/or we) cook and eat the damned fish. We even clean the damned fish after pulling it from the damned icy water while drinking our damned cans of beer.
