Of course it is possible that the reason many vets did not see him at Hoa Loa is that when he said he was in solitary confinement he was, in fact, in solitary confinement. On the other hand, at this point I am just simple Sgt. Schulz in search of a good beer and decent schnitzel. I know nothing, Nothing!
I've been scouring the net for pics. No Mr. T yet. As for what Johnny did at the Hilton Hotel, a rumor I keep reading about is that there was this Vietnamese "nurse" that would take care of him. It could be all BS, of course, but then again, that does not in and on itself make him the Manchurian Candidate. But you can bet your last nickel that there will be speculation galore about all this in the Fall, if he gets over the hump now. Payback time for Swift Boat?
Speaking of Kerry, here is a short movie about his teaming up with McCain in the 1990s to bury the investigation on POW/MIA in Vietnam. Those ghosts of time past are still haunting us...
No, of course not -- total opposites, in fact, when it came to Vietnam, and the immediate aftermath. But there's been slow convergence on various issues, ever since.
And, lest it all goes down memory hole, let's remember that McCain played footsie with Kerry in 2004, seriously thinking about becoming his running mate.

And, in fact rushed to his buddy's defense when Kerry was challenged on his Vietnam record.
Yep......
Sgt. Schulz is soooo confused.
