OK, so maybe Mitt is looking back at pappy through rose-colored glasses. (That itself is not so bad -- wish my kids would do the same...) But at least he can express coherent thoughts, and marshal his arguments in a logical fashion. For my money, that means something.
It does. It means that whatever his goals he can express them coherently and marshal arguments for them. The problem for us, in gauging any potential national leader, is twofold. First, what are the man's goals? Second, can he lead men to care for, and effectively strive for, those goals? As regards the first, Mitt seems plausible enough. As regards the second, I have no belief in him.... For my two West Virginee dollars, that means something.

Hate to speak badly of pappy, but American Motors never turned around. They're the ones that made Chrysler look like a good car.
Still, Romney is right that Detroit should swim or drown. Planet Obama's unions will bleed this dry stone forever if they don't lose this one.

He might have a ghost-writer. I never could listen to him speak.
