I'll take my chances and eat good stuff straight off the feedlot.

Problem is with the burning. Wine helps. You should read first what the article says, JJ.

Char is part of the proper grilling practice, AI. Of course you beef-boilers don't know much about that stuff and Ivy types are too snooty to go to a steakhouse, preferring fruity french food when someone else is paying.

Just go to Abe and Louie's one of these days and in the meantime keep your culinary ideas in your own cul, OK?

I'll read the BBC for cooking advice when the world runs out of olive oil.

Grilling meat produces carcinogens, JJ. Try boiled tofu, instead.

Next time I'm in Cambridge. Beef will certainly be banned by then anyway.

I typically only reach for a marinade when it comes to, say, Russian style kabobs. Otherwise, it's pretty much course ground pepper, some sea salt, and olive oil.

Wine with meat is the only way to go. So you get cirrhosis rather than colon cancer, at least the damn stuff tastes other than that damn Tejas mesquite.

Coq au vin, anyone?
