The pinko scientific method

In 2005 Warwick asked Phil for the dataset that was used to create the CRU temperature record. Phil Jones famously replied:
Subject: Re: WMO non respondo
… Even if WMO agrees, I will still not pass on the data. We have 25 or so years invested in the work. Why should I make the data available to you, when your aim is to try and find something wrong with it. …
Cheers Phil

Leave it to you to delete as appropriate !
Cheers Phil
PS I’m getting hassled by a couple of people to release the CRU station temperature data. Don’t any of you three tell anybody that the UK has a Freedom of Information Act !

OK, so some of the wordings were not the most felicitous. I still say we give Barack a blank check to make the waters quit rising.

He went to Harvard!

Damn right! OK, more on this theme:

Yet President Obama and his administration are pretending everything is still "settled science". Obama is even doubling down, going to Copenhagen for the treaty negotiations that are bound to be unsuccessful, since China and India are not willing to join the suicide pact, and the cost of the carbon regulation scheme would be unbearable, especially in a globally difficult economy.

This can only indicate sheer desperation. Keep pretending there is no scandal. Give speeches, because that's was Obama does best, and keep the true extent of the story out of the media.

The more he doubles down the better, Tecs. I keeps tellin ya. If we blow a couple billion on trying to keep cows from farting, then fine. More than worth it.

Once Drudge and Breitbart find out about it, only Cambridge MA will vote for him next time around and maybe we'll have an America in the world again.

Meantime let's be the UK for awhile. See if anyone likes it.

It's like Iraq, but you and AA refuse to believe me. If the war had been run right from the beginning, we'd be in worse shape. Without giving the Iraqis a taste of a real muslim dictatorship would be, the rationals over there would have no argument against even the more moderate imams that want something islamic in their republic.

Now all they have to do to dismiss the Iraqi equivs of the guys in Turkey that Spengler wrote about, all they have to do is mention one of the 200 local roundups and killings.

End of debate. Next!

Same with us. You take tax money in the middle of a recession to pay cows to fart less and we'll know how to vote next time.

All of us.
