OK, I had a chance to digest both articles -- lotsa facts and numbers in there, kind of interesting. But hey, it's not just that -- atmosphere counts. Hey, this is the first time since I came to this neck of the woods (just about the time when Bill Buckner let that ball slide between his feet -- what a putz!) that I see Republican signs everywhere. Pinch me to believe this is true!
And, on top of things, I got woken up this morning by a neighbor, who called to tell me he's a buddy of Scott Brown, and that I should vote for him. Never got a phone call from a neighbor before!
On the other hand, some guy that I knew from school, but had lost track of, tracked me down from NYC, and asked me if I'm following the election (duhhh...), encouraging me to vote.

You see the two poll-interprets here?

So what do you make of all this, Herr Rot?
I think you copied and pasted from Kathryn!
But seriously, the 538 article is badass.
And more to what you were remarking on, I think people are just very surprised and don't see what's going on.
Of course it's all racism.
