I thought about this and my feeling is that the number might be high for two reasons. Remember that Obama's negatives aren't that high, but they are intense.

1) People say he's muslim to the interviewer because it's fun/insulting.

2) They think he's a closet muslim that went to Rev. Wright's "church" because it was the closest thing to Wahhabism that the voters would stomach.

Just like I think Andy McCarthy is emotionally unbalanced and will end up across the hall from Obama before too long, I think Obama will start going to mosque a couple years out of office--if for no other reason than to slap the rubes that (God willing) vote him out of office.
