WTF are you talking about? The guy clearly writes A=B and B=C, when on the face of it A \ne B, and B\ne C. It's like those undergrads who put in equal signs randomly, to signify something, like God knows why, but anything except equality, which should have a definite (and unique) meaning. No?
Ah, sorry. I thought you were upset that he was invoking the transitivity of equality when the transitivity of a partial order was enough.
