Good cop routine
The first unit of 26 women will work in the centre of Volgograd, said the police chief, Mikhail Tsukruk. [He] said applicants "don't have to be blondes with long legs, but we'd like them to be attractive... let people admire them!"
They're not PC in Stalingrad, are they?

HelloooOooo Volgograd and Officer Natashya.
The Volgograd police chief also says:
“There is research which proves that women are not inclined to bribe-taking.”
Hmmm.... Yet another social study? Color me skeptical.
This somewhat reminds me of the "scandal" about the Harvard president who was forced to resign on the accusation of gendering mathematics (in that men were more-likely to understand it better).
A better hypothesis might simply be the power of aesthetics.
Maybe it's just easier for aggressive-driving men to pay for a ticket when issued by a Ruskie babe than when issued by one of those male ex-KGB flat-tops.
Good hypothesis! This calls for a lavishly funded study, fueled by appropriate quantities of Stolya.
Da, da, AI. Now you're thinking Ruskie. Someone alert the Social "Sciences" immediately. We gotta move on this thing!
