Not all that surprising, we located two prehistoric sites along this stretch of Park River in northeastern North Dakota. Our tribal liaison spotted an eagle circling above one day during the dig. Hopefully the Canadian oil company we're subcontracting this work for can excercise as much damage control as possible around this area when they put in the 30" diameter pipeline. It sounds like they will.
