Amazing concession speech

AI - this is class. Contrast with Dubyah's comment here . That is called hollow commonplace bullshit. You see the difference?

This, on the other hand, is a lot of shit: It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.

Obama seems still to think that he's been sent down from God the Father to save "civilization" from whitey.

Frankly he is sickening.

Yes, McCain was a class act, but Obama and his ilk like him best for losing without a disgusting Gore-like lawyer attack or some continual preening a la Kerry.

Yeah, McCain is a good man. So is W. Obama, I hope I am wrong about but I am pretty sure is a cunt of the first order.

Congrats, McCain on a fight fairly fought that no one (today) will accuse of being racist or sexist or antisocialist or defeatist in Iraq or anything else not nice.

The problem is that assholes that watch "Friends" 24/7 dont't understand decency or valor or character and simply want a show on their infotainment.

We're going to get 4 years (if we're lucky) of some black Camelot while about 20 million people around the world will lose their rights.

First off, Putin will take Ukraine from them and us. Then Iran will take over Iraq and threaten Israel either into submission or into attack.

Meanwhile, the economy will tank like never before with the unions and New Deal Redux going full steam ahead.

We're very very fucked and class or no clss has nothing to do with it.

We elected some goddamned ass just so we could say we're no longer Jim Crow.

I would rather be and so will the Ukrainians.

Oprah designated arbiter of Right and Wrong for the USA.

Perfect. Class.

But what does Sean Penn think??

Classy, yeah. It'll be classy when Putin stages another Katyn.

We're back to Republicans being good as second-fiddle, gracious in defeat, blah, blah, blah. Reminds me of the 1970s, Bob Dole, and such.

Perhaps John McCain has reached a state of personal grace that is commendable in a man, and intolerable in a party leader, wherein he sees some greater good or even some larger plan in his adversary's victory. Not that he ever was a party leader — nor was he suited to be.

Duhhh...
Some McCain aides had felt for a while that their candidate had had a deep reluctance to impede the election of the nation's first African American president. That he had, perhaps, pulled punches and failed to strike as hard as necessary to win this thing, for that greater good.

Great, just great, JJ. Why bother with elections, and spending some $5 billion on this? May as well had had an acclamation, and spent the money on something useful...

What acclamation? This is affirmative action for the WH.

Selfless republicans coulda won but, animated by the desire to present a race neutral face to the world, they opted to graciously give the election to the minority candidate. Revisionism already on the march.

Pepe, I for one don't agree with AI. I think if the Repubs would have told more truth they would have been called racists more and our society cares so much about being called that worst of epithets that it would all have stuck.

Reminds me of an old SNL where someone is imitating Johnny Cochran in the OJ trial. When damning evidence is brought up, Cochran attacks the prosecution for 'playing the evidence card'.

Here we are. In order to please those that would harm us, we have elected a president that will harm us.

I was younger and more resholient back then. Now I go through a carton of Preparation H in the week after Eid every year.
