In her own words: So, no, I think that if there are allegations based on questions or comments that I made in debate prep about Nafta, and about the continent versus the country when we talk about Africa there, then those were taken out of context. And that’s cruel and it’s mean-spirited, it’s immature, it’s unprofessional, and those guys are jerks, if they came away with it taking things out of context and then tried to spread something on national news. It is not fair and not right.
So how can you take "out of context" questions like, "what country is Africa", or, "what countries are in North America"?
Of course, these "jerks" are the very same bozos who supposedly vetted Palin. What exactly did they ask her during that 5-minute vetting? How's the caribou stew?
Maybe so. But, how come Jean-Francois Mac's buddies say she doesn't? Of course, these are the same girlie-boys that were afraid of saying anything about Rev. Wright, but now they're turning on a soft target. C'mon, JJ, face it -- the whole thing just stinks, no matter what angle you look at from. We need pros.
Mitt? Huck? OK, OK, neither is picture-perfect, but they are both relatively young and energetic, and they sort of proved their mettle in the primaries (unlike Palin, who was just plucked out of nowhere by McCain, with no prior testing whatsoever). If you're gonna get picky and choosy, and say things like, No Mormons (or Evangelicals, or whatever) need apply, the tent is gonna get awfully small.

She knows Africa isn't a country, AI. Jeez.

OK, who? The poll says Palin didn't do any damage and I bet she did a lot of good.

It will get even smaller if you admit them.
