NYT taking Moscow's side. Where have we seen this before?

Discarding data that doesn't match the theory ? We have definitely seen this here before.

In the NYT, yes. For sure.

Reed put out great "data" on how Progressive Bliss Indices were skyrocketing under Lenin. Durant put out great "data" on how PB Indices were skyrocketing under Stalin. Marx was in His Utopia, and All was well on Planet Pepe,[ mod the reactionary wreckers and Kulaks that had to be dealt with]
Pravda-0n-Hudson does its' bit, and Le Pew thinks we're the sort of chumps that'll buy it?

Didn't NYT say that all would be humky-dory if only Amerikkka would get out of Vietnam and leave it to genteel, progressive Sorbonnistes?

Damn boat people and montagnard corpses must be lying.

NYT & Pepeland cheering on the commies -- where have we seen this before? Oh, yes, Walter Duranty reporting from Moscow in the early 1930s, saying that there was no famine in the Ukraine (some 6 millions were starving to death right then and there). And, of course, Duranty got the Pulitzer Prize for that. Being on Planet Pepe has its sweet rewards.

I think this post needs the "Putin just doesn't get it" label, but I don't like touching other people's goodies.
