The argument is whether you can rely on the intellect of military pencil-pushers to come to a reliable presumption of guilt. For having spent a year in the (french) military, I have serious doubts. I see no reason to assume that soldiers with no police training can come to this conclusion.

I don't buy this stupid assumption that all our guys are bad.

I am not making this statement. Just that this gitmo thing has a whiff of japanese internment camps and are solely guided by a "better safe than sorry" mentality.; 12/04/2008 10:49 AM
