Where's the conflict?

Among those who think that Bushian "brains", and not Rubian cojones, are the golden apple of the sun.

Perhaps. But why make this an exclusive or -- I can think of many politicos who had both brains and cojones. My favorite: Winston Churchill.

As for Bush, who said he was Mr Brains? And Rubio actually seems pretty wily -- he certainly did not win in a landslide based solely on "cojones".

Well "House of Bush" refers to the team around that clan. The Baker down to Rove lineage of "I'm so Brainy, so Very Very Brainy" consigliere's that Rott puts so much stock in. Not any particular Bush himself. [Similarly as the Kennedy's had the "Best and the Brightest" around
'em, but not so many Kennedy's had brains worthy of being called brains].
The "or" was not exclusive...just unfortunately too uncommon among the current crop of self annointed Big Enchiladas among the Repubs.
