I once went to Barnard and had some martinis at a free bar. Boy oh boy -- what a headache I got! Never touched gin after that. It's poison.

Yes, gin is poison. Juniper grows in the Alps and so every once in a while I will pick a berry and taste it to remind myself how horrible gin is. It never ceases to amaze me that the Brits drink that stuff nearly straight in martinis and gimlets.

Awful stuff. Perfume for ladies.
