That is a terribly high death count for one man shooting.......were the children all massed together?....there were no guards?.......where were the adults in all this?...... How was he able to access this island?..so fast after "singlehandedly" setting off the blasts on Oslo?
Given the information we have, not much is adding up.

Of course, pinko doctrine forbids resisting crazed gunmen: it appears that a key ingredient in the tragedy was the fact that the killer had the only gun on the island. It is, really, one of the ultimate horror scenarios: hundreds of kids, accompanied by a relative handful of adults, isolated on an island with a crazed killer. The outcome might have been very different if some of those adults had been armed.

Because of a history of this sort of terrorist attack by Palestinians, In Israel, any group of children must BY LAW be accompanied by an armed adult.

This results in a curious situation where 23 year old female Israeli Kindergarden teachers will be armed with Uzi submachine guns.

In Norway (or heck, even the USA) a law like this would probably make people's heads explode.
