Besides, she's much less of a wacko than Christine O'Donnell, who you were pushing a year ago. And, she's an elected official, which is not the case for a whole bunch of candidates -- that puts a certain lower bound on things, whether you like the person or you don't. No?

Of course, when I'm talking about lower bound in this context, I mean (strictly) positive lower bound. Is that concept familiar to you, or are those \lesssims so amorphous that \gt = \leq in Rotter Calculus?
