Yeah, there was a meeting of african american orthodontists at the bar next door last week. I couldn't get in either. Have my rights been violated ? Should I call the daily telegraph ? the national guard ?
Hmmm..Pepe, the Gros Rouge is making mulch of your brain?
If a public pool had been closed to all but african americans, orthodontists or orthodontically challenged, then your civil rights would have been violated. Presumably this bar was of private ownership?
If the Imams want to build their own pools to properly fornicate in privacy, that's their right.
If the Imams usurp public structures for the same, then it is a violation of other's rights.
Oh, that's right, on Planet Pepe the distinction between the public and the private has no meaning. All is Red on Le Pew Square.
I recommend you call the National Guard. Even "Rednecks" need a good laugh.
so lemme get this straight. If left-handed lesbians want to hold a meeting reserved to their ilk in a public square, it violates my rights? I am trying to picture this and let it upset me but somehow it doesn't work.
Uh, yes. In a free society, one in which the people rule through its representatives, public institutions are for the people. Not for the highest bidder in the Bribe the Politician competition.
Hence a public school, or a public library, or a public pool, is not allowed to establish a system of apartheid or dhimmitude. Now Pepe may have a wetspot for Apartheid or Jim Crowism, many many Aristos did and do, but then they are the enemies of our free republic.
If you want to live in lands which embrace the notion of public institutions as private pelf for Versailles, instead of leading this country to perdition why not just go and enjoy those lands?
Pepe is tying himself in knots, Houdini-like, in his eagerness to suck up to sharia über-alles. It always amuses me how the Islamic shibboleth trumps everything else for Pepe -- even (or perhaps, should I say, especially) the Magna Carta, the Rights of Man, and the U.S. Constitution. The slippery slope of pinko-liberalism brought to its ultimate conclusion.
No I understand the principle but I wonder how big a deal it is to leave my left-handed lesbians on their own for a few hours in the park.
in other words, aren't there other swimming pools and how inconvenienced was this person?
Sometimes, even though you have the right of way in traffic, it is best to yield to someone driving too fast. Self-righteousness is a poor standard of behavior and one has to choose their battles.
But I understand that to a bunch of enraged right-wing nuts, this is the first step towards appeasement and later capitulation and makes no sense.
Ah, so fuck equality under the Law if it would require Islam to follow the same rules of society everyone else has to follow. You know, a little Geld, a little Appeasement, let the peasant and christian rubes find some way of getting by, and keep Pepe's head from being inconvenienced by having to stand against something which packs a mean wallop.
So progresses Sharia in the West, increment by increment, accomodation by accomodation, loss of liberty and rights drop by drop by drop.
You've certainly got a Plan, O'Brien. Might not even take 5 Years.
I understand. You leave them alone for a minute to hang out in the pool and the next thing you know, the tallest building in Manhattan is a minaret. Glad you caught it early, aa.
That's Glorious, Imperator. A perfect condensate of evasion, obtuseness, mendacity, and Versaillian arrogance.
Unless, though, you are getting a monthly envelope for your Widows and Orphans Fund, from some bigwig in IM, your shilling for Sharia is even more pathetic than it is shameless.
No, no I understand. you wanted to go splish splash and those ugly people didn't let you in the pool. and you had every right to go in that pool when you wanted to. but still no dice. and that was very frustrating to you.
this reminds me that one day I came to a four-way stop sign. and another guy came to that intersection from another street after me. And it was my undeniable right to go first, but you know what ? He went ahead of me. When I had the right of way. It was MY turn and he took it. The nerve.
