I tuned it out. In other news, here is another fine example of Pepean logic in action:
He said he did not see the move to appoint an interim senator as political backtracking by Democrats. "I wasn't here ... and I'm looking at the issues in front of the country right now and how important they are to all of us [blah, blah, blah]
The beauty of Pepean logic is that you can throw before us a heap of lies, from little smoothed ones to others which could splash the Ocean, and there ain't ever gonna be but a blue "Valid" stamp embossed on ;em. All it takes is a total and shameless disdain for truth. Not much to ask of a Versaillean Aristo and his little bleu nutters
As for Edward Kennedy, he [together with that magnificent former Wizard of the DarKKK arts, Robert Byrd, Esq., of West Virginia] was the soul of the Democrat Party. Yes, he was in every way but girth the least of the Kennedy brothers, but it is in him, and not JFK, and not RFK, that we find the Summa Malus of AmeriSoc . We all would have been far better off if the Dems had followed JFK, who was far closer to Reagan in political thought than he ever was to his youngest brother; but Oswald and Sirhan did their work well.
