Of course, Rot will start railing against Andy McCarthy (it's a Pavlovian response for him), and not pay attention to what Qaradawi is saying. More sayings:

Al-Qaradawi told The Guardian that wife-beating was neither "obligatory nor desirable" but that he "accepts it as a method of last resort – though only lightly". ... In his book The Lawful and Prohibited in Islam, he states that wife beating is permissible after the failure of all other means of persuasion. In such circumstances, a husband may beat his wife "lightly with his hands, avoiding her face and other sensitive areas."

While stating that female circumcision is "not required" in his book, Modern Fatwas", he adds: "whoever finds it serving the interest of his daughters should do it, and I personally support this under the current circumstances in the modern world.

More: I believe that women's Islamic work will succeed and prove itself in the arena of the Islamic Movement only when it gives birth to female Islamic leaders in the fields of Call, thought, science, literature and education. Accordingly, women as well as men can dedicate themselves to Allah, and serve as a jihad human bomber. I do not think that this is impossible or even difficult.

Q also doesn't like Starbucks coffee: Here in Qatar, we have a branch of Marks and Spencer, which regularly dedicates its Saturday revenue to Israel. We have a Starbucks, which serves coffee. They used to hang a sign on the doors of their shops: 'We benefit our most important partner, which is Israel, we help in the education of students in Israel, we help build up the Israeli defense arsenal,' and so on. People go and drink their expensive coffee. Instead of paying 2 riyals for a cup of coffee, they pay 20 riyals. This Starbucks is Zionist.

McCarthy is protesting too much. The Amerikkkan RWNs are identical to the Taliban except for the wardrobe, which the Taliban choose natural over synthetic They also eat right, get plenty of exercise, and are more spiritually genuine than McDonalds-drive-thru-scarfing, American Idol watching sharmutas like Paris and Perez Hilton.

The Taliban don't idle their cars or spill orange juice on bigshorts professors. They don't have cellphones and iPods and other newfangled doomaflotchies that irritate the ear and give rise to impure thoughts.

Other than that, they are identical.
