It is hardly a secret that the best (and perhaps only) way for an unknown or career-challenged conservative to achieve mainstream media acceptance is to be a sellout to their supposed cause (just ask Arianna Huffington, Peggy Noonan, David Brooks, David Frum, Michael Smerconish, or Joe Scarborough, to name only a few)

Tecumseh said...: Rush is smarter than Beck, who's kind of ADD at times. But I stopped reading Brooks a long time ago -- he's just a court jester in pinko Versailles. What a difference from Bill Safire, who managed to hold his own as the token conservative at the NYT for several decades, without compromising his integrity. Safire was also the much better writer, which always helps.; 2/27/2011 10:53 PM
