... BATF, the Justice Dept., and most likely the POTUS were behind the efforts to “walk” weapons into Mexico in a lame attempt to connect guns sold in the US to the drug war ongoing in Mexico. All so the government could justify more gun control [in the US]. With no concern for lives lost, for damage done, families destroyed, no concern for anything other than a liberal agenda.

To date, the information collected by the committee has come from ATF whisteblowers, agents inside the operation who fought against senior government officials who were “giddy” over the death and violence from the roughly 2000+ weapons that they allowed smugglers to take across the border.
WTF? I keep reading about this shit, and it still doesn't make any sense to me. If it as big as it sounds, how come no one talks about it in the campaign?
Some background: ATF began Project Gunrunner as a pilot project in Laredo, Texas, in 2005 and expanded it as a national initiative in 2006.
