Why has America's public discourse become less focused and clear, less reasoned?
Uh, ummm, Al, maybe, just maybe, because you just shout and rant and rave, instead of using well-calibrated syllogisms, to let conclusions flow artfully from some basic axioms? You are allowed to use commuting diagrams, and maybe some estimates, a bit of hand-waving at times, if you must, but puhleaase, no frothing at the mouth.

Yeah, I thought this was particularly rich. I have forgotten what the appropriate label is, though. There was one "Al Gore, the Science Guy" That I like, but now he seems to be transcending mere science and going for the full epistemology we need in all of us to be a mature democracy.
Or something.
