It would have been if Carter had said,"Bush is a president as bad as I was and as such is the worst president ever."
The redundancy would be a tautology.
But Carter was a much worse president. We are still thanking him for Ahmadinejad. Reagan would have bombed his colon around his testicles.

you just refuse to accept that the US has brought upon itself most of its foreign policy headaches.
As an indicator: of all people you know damn well how the US is perceived on the South &Central American continents. Don't you think that decades of support for brutal dictatorships loosely justified by the necessity to keep communism at bay have something to do with it?
