A chink in the armor?

If I can say so, without JJ mounting in high dudgeon, and explaining the facts of life as to what can be said or not about Obama.

Fascinating graphic AI. I don't know intrade. I'll look for it now. I had TradeSports in the sidebar but I think they're out of America now or something. Haven't checked.
You really think Obama can lose? OK, 2 more big states for the dark side, but tiny margins and they're not wtas.

Interesting little piece though nothing's in there I haven't lready seen:It's probably a critical mass of bad news - the NAFTA-quiddick story, the Rezko trial, the "3 a.m." ad, the minor bobble on Louis Farrakhan in the debate, the accusation that he didn't hold any hearings as a subcommittee chairman because he was too busy campaigning, John McCain's "al-Qaeda is already in Iraq, it's called al-Qaeda in Iraq" one-liner... each individual news item has little impact on the polls, but collectively they probably chip away at his softest supporters. Word is the late deciders in Texas broke heavily for Hillary.

People were predicting a hope fatigue setting in pretty soon. A few posts down, I linked an article that mentioned a couple reporters in San Antonio a tad hostile and Obama running out that room as if there were a fire raging.

So to the topic of your front-page blurb, well, it looks like it's a nice night to be JJ.

If this holds up and people realize Obamism (spilling its seed upon the ground) is a cult a la Koresh (oop) I mean Jim Jones, then McCain would have made a gigantic mistake in taking him on a couple nights ago and alienating anyone that might swing his way.

Then the one-liner about AQ actually being in Iraq (and Obama sounding like the weakest Harvard twit in his class saying "I knew that too!") was exactly the right dagger.

You want Obama weaker than this? But then Hill gets a free ride for a few more weeks.

No, I must proclaim myself a genius and ask for my cases of Champagne now, payable in full.

Address them to Airman Donfeld Rumphole.

FYI, Intrade is linked through TradeSports on their left sidebar--Politics.

Tradesports is kind of passe -- yes, I go to intrade for my market fix. Quite often, they react faster to news than the networks. I thought Obama at 90% was not realistic, he's more down to earth now.

McCain's one liner on AQ was quite good -- looks like he had a tactical alliance of sorts there with Hillary. Yes i saw that article about that semi-hostile interview in San Antonio. The guy has a glass chin, or something? Let's see if he can get over this bit of flak, and the turbulence. If he can't, it will just go to show he's a rookie, and the Hildebeast is gonna go for the jugular. But I think he's going to keep his cool, and keep fighting.

At the end of the day, though, one of these two will emerge, pretty battle tested. McCain is just go flabby with no competition to keep him on his toes, and with JJ only throwing softballs, and playing interference on my tackles. Am I mixing metaphors?

Nah, par for the course, wing-nut.
