That the unspoken assumption. Birds of like feather, and all that jazz. Question, then: who is more French, Kerry or Obama?

How about Colin Powell, who was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and chief military honcho during the Gulf War? Was he also a "poor victim"? The condescending attitude of the limo-liberal pompadoured pinkos towards those whose cause they supposedly champion (yeah, right -- baloney) still keeps amazing me, after decades observing the phenomenon. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Pepe seems to need a demonstration that the Europeans hate the US. What do you think about Gerhard Schroeder's winning an election on US-bashing, Pepe? Of course he was taking it up the tailpipe from Putin the whole time, so grain of salt... How about Chirac and Villepin's hamstringing US diplomacy by going around to all their humanitarian buddies in Africa to stop the UN? What fun that was, huh? And all so they wouldn't go to jail for their little humanitarian deals with Saddam.
Funny how things worked out, huh?
Thierry Meyssan sells a billion copies of a lot of trash saying the 9/11 hit on the Pentagon was a hoax. How can that be?
How can you deny the obvious? You're like a Christian or something.

Yeah, they didn't buy the administration's wmd fantasy and the need to invade iraq imediately. fools.

It's a little bit as if, even if one doesn't have the same analysis of a situation as the americans, locking in step is still in order if one doesn't want to be labeled a traitor.

Clearly most europeans didn't buy the impending iraqi doom scenario and, if you consider these nations sovereign (a big if, I know), I can't imagine why they should have backed US policy.

You always talk big about independence, not walking in lockstep, etc, Pepe. To me, though, it all sounds depressingly familiar Lefty Party Line. I don't see anything original or courageous in that - just an 1984 automaton like mode.

ai, the europeans didn't want to walk in lockstep with you anymore than you wanted to walk in lockstep with them...

Come on jj, everybody knows messian is an opportunist but I don't think anybody serious takes him seriously. Think Rush Limbaugh: a clown with a big mouth. Not the voice of america (at least i hope).
