SBJ on Obama's side
Except for an interruption to talk about a severe storm that had shattered windows at CNN Center in Atlanta (talk about a story breaking through), Cooper devoted his entire hour to the Wright story on Friday night, and the show repeated for the full hour after that.

Who is SBJ? Somebody giving a BJ? And it revived conservative chatter about Obama’s patriotism that has been fueled by rumors he does not put his hand on his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance (false) That's BS! Didn't I put a pic of Obama putting his hands in front of crotch when the Star Spangled banner was being played, to illustrate the story of the mad pastor rantings, when I first broke it on this board (way ahead of the curve)? I guess that's yet another instance of "trust me, nor your lying eyes?. Pop quiz: where is that line from? (It's probably from earlier than you think.)

JJ: you're trying to cover up for Obama, but it won't work. Hereis what the law says:
United States Code Title 36 Chapter 3 — National Anthem
§301. National anthem; Star-Spangled Banner
The composition consisting of the words and music known as The Star-Spangled Banner is designated the national anthem of the United States of America.
Conduct during playing — During rendition of the national anthem— when the flag is displayed —
all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart;
and individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note;
and when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.
You can twist and turn and slice and dice and spin and counter-spin, but I caught him in flagrante delito, and I caught you in an attempt at cover up (invoking Tailgunner Joe to defend that is lame in the extreme). Where's my magnum of VCP? I deserve it plenty.
Compelling people to behave in such a boy-scout manner has to be the stupidest piece of legislation in the book.
But it is on the books, apparently. So why is Obama flaunting this? To score points in Berkeley and Cambridge? But he has them in his back pocket, already...
