It's a regrettable thing that the entirety of the french media has always been unable to separate editorial content from news. This is particularly true for Le Monde whose commitment to providing biased coverage is beyond the pale. No big loss.
About 30-40 years ago, LeMonde used to be a serious journal of the Left. But, as the Gray Old Lady, it has drifted more and more into editorializing, and away from "just the facts, m'am". Fottorino himself is a prime example of this. He should fire himself, before firing others.
Are these two Corsicans different? The one I had in mind used to write some nasty editorials a few years ago -- you used to link to them. I thought his name was Fottorino, but it could be Mr Alz catching up with me...
