Hoover Dam...

I took a trip out to Hoover Dam today (04/07/08), just outside of Boulder City, Nevada, which is about a 15-20 mile drive from Las Vegas. Here are the pics. Also note the 4-lane bi-pass under construction at the top of the cliff on the pic at the top of the montage.

If you're ever in the area, also check out Boulder City Brewery: I had a couple pints of their micro-brew wheat beer ($5/pint), and they had a good variety on tap: pilsner, IPA, and a couple others.

In the meantime, I'll be bracing for the dam[n] jokes...
