If only McCain had called him Hussein...

(1) To set the record straight, I never said that McCain should have called Obama by his full name -- McCain is a big boy, let him call Obama however he wants (Obie Van Kenobie, for all I care). All I said that McCain should mind his own business, and not tell other people (especially those he's supposed to woo, not go out of way to alienate, as is his wont) whether to use the full name or only 2/3 of it.

(2) From the article: The poll showed that Mr. Obama now leads Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, by 47 percent to 42 percent ... The latest poll shows Mrs. Clinton leading Mr. McCain by 48 percent to 43 percent in a similar match-up. I'm not sure why JJ brags so much about this -- I for one am underwhelmed. I mean, you got a guy coming from nowhere, with no experience whatsoever, (almost) to the Left of Fidel Castro, with tons of baggage (Chicago-style shady deals a la Rezko, Wright mess), a wife that shoots him in the foot, etc, etc -- and all Mr. Big Man McCain can do is get within 5% of this guy? And, don't get me started with the Hildebeast: after all her enormous negatives, and sinking deeper and deeper in doodoo -- and she still beats McCain by the same margin? Rather pathetic, if you ask me.

Mitt woulda been ahead by now. Nyah, nyah, nyah.

Mitt would not be ahead, AI.

Of course not. But it's always fun to speculate -- and how would you actually _prove_ such a statement?

JJ, AI isn't infatuated with Mitt anymore. So I don't know why you continue pushing him to bring up analogies and speculations.

Ah, don't worry, I can take it. But JJ only kindles my contrarian spirit when it comes to McCain. I mean, of course he's the best left standing, but one needs some straight talk here. N'est ce pas?
