Pinko rich boy goes after the fighter pilot

Ah, but they support the troops, don't they? Rockefeller's tirade (coming from one of those tribunes of the people, defending the little guy from the Big Bad Kapitalists, right?) is of the same cloth as Kerry's diatribe against all US soldiers when he testified before Congress in 1971-72. Same old, same old. Bring back Jeremiah Wright -- at least with him, we know exactly where he stands.

McCain was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet. He was long gone when they hit. What happened when they [the missiles] get to the ground? He doesn’t know.

What is inaccurate about this statement?

Laser-guided missiles in VietNam? Wow! We were badass then. How could we lose that one?

so the problem is that rockefeller didn't get his weaponry right?

Actually, McCain was flying pretty low, on a fighter jet. The bombs that that slinky geeky pinko weasel was trying to describe were dropped by BUFFs (Big Ugly F__ers -- B52s) from on high, and were of course dumb bombs, not laser guided. So, Pepe, you see, not only do pinkos spend their lives providing aid and comfort to any and all enemy of the United States and Western Civ, but they are also dumb as doorbells. Of course, the two phenomena are not at all uncorrelated.

So the statement made about McCain actually applies to bomber pilots?

What is innacurate about the statement?
Simple, the "he doesn't know" part.
