The difference is that it is considered an embarrassment on our side of the atlantic. not something to gloat about.

It's interesting how an article about french HR violations finds that the most suitable illustration is a photo of dubbyah, though. Not to worry: it is probably a typo.

Let me see if I can mimic the rhetoric of the autochtones when it comes to such stories though:
"These are just a couple of isolated bad apples! It says nothing about the french military and our boys selflessly putting their their lives on the line for freedom to ring across the world.".

Yada, yada, yada. The French wrote to book on torture
(that is, real one, not the bs allegations of Planet Pepe, referring to "stress positions" or whatnot) -- see Bigeard, Massu, etc. So let's cut those airs, willya?

nah, the french seem very unembarassed about the behavior of their contribution to "peacekeeping" forces. They weren't embarassed about the Ivory coast killings, nor the Zaire merriment of rape and blackmarketeering, nor, of course, about Rwanda. Heck, they weren't even embarassed about blowing up mighty Greenpeace.
Sure didn'd take confronting an enemy who only captured in order to make videos of torture and slaughter for the Mosque development funds to get the Frankish feather ruffled
Embarassment is, it seems, an unknown emotion in the salons of Versailles. Or they would be drenched in embarassment at their hypocrisy.
Now, if Pepe is telling us he feels embarassed, as an individual man, then I congratulate him for at last going native here in Yankland.
