An Instance of Post-Modernity: a Question

This last weekend while out and about with a friend, we came across what we'd describe as a "flighty woman" in a bar. One could argue that she was charged up on booze to a point where Pepetians and FCPers might, without a protracted debate, agree on Post-Modernity's existence (when one gets down to it, there is plenty of grey area regarding the topic of post-modernity, and whether it is real, and political, and so on).

In this case, if it did exist, its manifestation was right in front of us: a flighty woman (whom a gentleman from Parshall, N.D. argued was, in his words, "a whore") with hyper-drive speed at one of the drinking warehouses symbolized an instance of postmodernity. Yet it was by no means a figment of our imagined reality. She was certainly true in the sense that she definitively existed. In what capacity, though, we were uncertain.

As men of the people, it's important to collect data from and interact with all social strata: we are, afterall, a democratic republic. We can be sure that the postmodern woman did not care for wine or classical music. For example, as she rocketed around the bar and again got within earshot (she was making a sort of irregular figure-8 pattern around the bar), she was asked, "Do you like wine and classical music?" She responded with a "FUCK NOOOO!," all while simultaneously bouncing and grinding (in a non-linear transect) into men and women of the said drinking warehouse.

See the above title/link for Stanford's definition of postmodernity. Any thoughts on this, gentlemen?

How can anybody read academic shit like this when there is plenty of good porn online is beyond me.

That being said, post-modern cinema makes some of the most interesting movies: Leone re-inventing the western, wenders the film noir, and I heard about gomorrah recently that revisited the mafia film. Any of you seen it ?

I think this blog would be considerably more convivial if we'd all make it a point to snap pix of our gfs in various states of undress and post them rather than argue about philosophy or, worse, politics: none of you right wing shitheads is ever going to change their minds and I sure as hell am not about to buy any of your endless 4th of July party.
