Justice?
Alternatively, the court itself should launch an investigation into the treatment of prisoners during Bush’s “War on Terror.” Without rushing to prejudge a complicated case it would seem that there is sufficient evidence of wrong doing to warrant an investigation. The I.C.C. should launch an investigation, whether the U.S. accepts its jurisdiction or not. Does international law only apply to petty dictators in the third world? Once an investigation is launched, then liberals in the U.S. should take a stand.

I think that's a great idea. The ICC should get right on it. Meanwhile, the next time a Milosevic shows up on their doorstep, they can handle him the way they know best. On their knees, mouth open.
