Funny article -- in a gallows humor sort of way. (We used to have both a Trabi, and then a variant of the Dacia. Joys of socialist car-making to the max.) But the conclusion is way too optimistic: The United States is far more powerful than Great Britain was then, and no American Attlee should be capable of destroying its solid economic and political base. Have some more ouzo.
Hey, man, pretty soon you'll end up in tyroland for good. I'll try to take a detour later on. Only been once there, on an Orient Express ride. Didn't see anything but train stations.

AA, be careful posting Pacepa. He's like the living Coanda to Tecs.
Hey, you thinking about triangles and determinants, or as soon as we deliver code is it in da dumpstah?
Pacepa-Coanda GUT. Where's my VCP?
I'm taking a breather in da frogland.
Hey, they keep upping my time in Sacherland. You coming next year?
I had never noticed the empennage of Coanda's jetcycle before. Cool.
He must've spent a lot of time in bars playing the game without stick, balls, or table.
Anyway, I guess his plane's exhalations were even more flammable than his breath after a couple hectolitres of kerosene-tsuica...
