Despite everything, I can't get too mad at Lindsey -- he's so much the used-car-salesman, snake-oil-doctor, and Southern sweet-talking old boy wrapped into one, that I can't take him too seriously.

But I can see how der Rotter would fall for his hayseed act. Rot is so predictable...
