Perhaps the stupidest sentence printed by the NYT
Perhaps the most impressive achievement of the American military isn’t its aircraft carriers, stunning as they are. Rather, it’s the military day care system for working parents.

Harvard rulz! Nicholas Kristof went on to become a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard College. At Harvard, he studied government and worked on The Harvard Crimson newspaper; "Alums recall Kristof as one of the brightest undergraduates on campus."
Good point. If you think about it, probably the worst they ever published was Will Duranty's paeans to Stalin's forced famine in the Ukraine. This bozo Kristof pales in comparison.
