Hey, man -- no fair! I was about to post this story, but I dillied and dallied, answering first Pepe's Bible-bashing and whatnot. By the time I got to it, I wuz scooped. Life is a bitch! Do I get a pint of Guiness as a consolation prize?

BTW, I'm here at a car shop twiddling my thumbs while they change the oil. But -- mirabile dictu! -- they have free wireless. Who says only pinkos in Seattle (or is it Portland) have free wifi floating in the ether? The suckers surely pay taxes through their nose for the privilige. I pay zip, and I get it for free. Hah!!

Pathetic coverage at wiki. You can help improve it!

This story must be false: I thought Pepe said al queda didn't exist in Iraq.

Pepe is a Versaillian, so he probably opted for some Lyotardian merde such as "Al Qaeda does not exist in Iraq, hence its existence in Iraq is assured" and left himself with the whole of postmodern ironie to shield his cou.

AI asked: "Who says only pinkos in Seattle (or is it Portland) have free wifi floating in the ether?"

Not this Neocon above Seattle, AI

AA, maybe the sled-dogs can swing by with some wifi on their way to deliver the serum to Noam.

On the other hand, they hit me with a hefty bill for all sorts of maintenance crap. Kapitalism at work!! Oh well, I'm a pigeon.

care to provide a reference to this absurd statement? or is it just a distortion of the fact that aq has become a secondary terror element in iraq (thanks to the US who brilliantly re-awakened sunni-shiite enemity)?

Arelcao Akleos said...

Sunni-Shiite enmity sure beats their united enmity against the yankee kufr. Hence Pepe's bitterness.

Thanks for the clarification, Pepe. Nothing like civil discourse between a Dakotan and removed Frenchie.

mft, sorry if you read my comment as being uncivil - it wasn't meant to be so.

aa, at your age you really shouldn't be saying any absurdity just to get a reaction. My five hear old does that and the 9yo is already over it (ok not quite but almost).

Pepe le Pew said...

back to the topic, this is great: it will further consolidate the return to calm that we started experiencing with the offing of zarky.

Arelcao Akleos said...

Pepe, at your age you should be able to connect a sentence to a topic under discussion. Or have you been misinforming the tykes all these years?
Now, can you explain what you were trying to get at, or will that tax that yet bacterially vibrant cranium of yoursw?

No worries, Pepe. Besides, I likened you to Evangelical Bible Thumpers. (see post #20)

aa - do read the link on the topic (it's the orange word or sentence near the top of the page).

Back to the topic at hand: wrong guy. Oh well, they're all the same, these Binnie Boyz. Just appy the Zarky solution, and move on. Yes, Pepe, that's the only way to do it -- slowly and methodically, one by one. It will take time, but what's the alternative? Just go hide in the basement of Versailles?

Pepe le Pew said...

you don't have time.

So, Pepe, look at what you wrote which I was responding to. That first quote thingee. That is "the topic". And my comment makes clear that what leaves you bitter leaves me relatively happy. [Simple and surded, even if disagreement with Versailles gets such a surly reaction].
So, Topical Anon, what does your pointing to orange glowing links near top of pages have to do with this??

aa - i was moving away from your perpetual adolescent nagging and back to the initial topic. capice stronso?

Arelcao Akleos said...

Then why didn't you say so? In no sense was that discernible from "context". From Montaigne to Pepe, the progress of Letters in France.

Capisce?

Capisce?
ok but i did get the second part right, didn't i?
