Britney and Paris Wannabes: Trickle Down or Up?

I can't put words to it, but there's just something about this photo that says, ah, what? Tolstoy would grope for the Truth of it with words.

Another question: are these women emulating Britney, Paris and Lindsey Lohan? Or is the Hollywood Ho-Bag trio merely emulating these drunken women?
